However, this tradition is not the same in all countries. Basically, it depends on the cultural context on which finger and on which hand the engagement ring and also the wedding ring find their place. Options for connecting an engagement ring to the wedding ring

Wear wedding rings with a wedding band
In the USA, it is common to wear the wedding ring and the engagement ring on the same finger. This is also known as "ring stacking". The engagement ring is then placed in front of the wedding ring as a so-called pre-stacking ring. Unlike us, this is on the left hand. This means you can connect the engagement ring to the wedding ring by placing it on the right hand in front of the wedding ring.
Opt for wedding rings as a triset
A particularly stylish and practical option for combining the engagement ring with the wedding ring is to opt for a so-called triset from the outset. This is a combination of engagement ring and wedding band that are perfectly coordinated in their appearance. In addition to the harmonious look, the high wearing comfort is particularly impressive, as the shapes of the individual rings are also skillfully harmonized. This means that you can later wear the engagement ring as a front ring for the wedding band without it interfering with the wedding band, thus combining the engagement ring with the wedding band.
Wear the engagement ring and wedding ring on one side each
Of course, you do not have to connect the engagement ring to the wedding ring on one finger, but can choose to continue wearing the engagement ring on the left hand and the wedding ring on the right hand. As this is the custom in Germany anyway, the engagement ring and wedding ring do not get in each other's way when they are joined. We recommend wearing your ring in this way if the engagement ring and wedding band are visually very different from each other.
