The artwork "Woman with fur and red hat" dates from 1915 and was painted by Sigrid Hjertén, a Swedish Expressionist painter.
In true 1920s style, the actress wears a short hairstyle that was revolutionary at the time and holds her head at a slight angle. Pure coquetry! At this time, many social changes in the role of women could be observed: Young women defied conventions, wore short skirts, met men, drank, smoked and danced in dance halls etc.
